🔬 Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be involved in a wide range of synthetic chemistry and R&D activities, including:
- Performing organic synthesis and reaction planning.
- Conducting reaction monitoring using TLC, LC-MS, HPLC and NMR.
- Purification through column chromatography, extraction, filtration and crystallization.
- Troubleshooting chemical reactions and conducting impurity investigations.
- Maintaining ELN documentation and preparing technical reports.
- Performing literature reviews and patent searches.
- Managing laboratory inventory and ensuring proper laboratory maintenance.
- Following laboratory safety, quality and compliance requirements.
- Communicating scientific findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Mentoring junior scientists and trainees.
🎯 Candidate Profile
ALS Global is looking for professionals with:
- Strong knowledge of Organic Chemistry and reaction mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience in synthetic chemistry R&D.
- Good understanding of analytical and purification techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent documentation and scientific reporting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
