Hindustan Unilever is looking to hire a Senior Formulator in our Oral Care team based in Mumbai:
With the SA PC BU organization in place, we have the new PC category strategy which focuses on driving growth in Oral Care in India and assert our market leadership in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The role involves working with teams in India and BSPAN on innovation rollouts, claims ,5S initiatives, competition benchmarking and also drive some of the common agenda like simplification, harmonization and digitalization. The role gives ample opportunities for the candidate to build their expertise in diverse areas such as formulation development, processing, claims substantiation, smart product initiatives etc.
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidate should hold an MSc (Chemistry), B.ECH (Chemical Engineering), BPharm/ M Pharm degree
- Minimum 5-6 years of R&D experience part of which should preferably be as Workstream Lead /Technical Project Lead.
- Experience in Formulation Development in personal care.
- Experience in working with BSPAN teams and supply chain teams will be preferred
Your Responsibilities
The job responsibilities would include
- Working on regional projects as TPL
- Driving the superiority agenda in SA oral care business
- Working closely with local and global CTI & CMI to pick up market insights
- Facilitating claims approval at LCF
- Coordinating with global and BSPAN teams to populate the 5S funnel
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for harmonization and simplification across SA
- Monitoring consumer feedback on product launches
- Providing support to manufacturing sites for issues related to product & process and carrying out main plant trials
- Working on KBS initiatives
- Working on competitor intelligence
