Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will independently execute in-vivo rodent Pharmacokinetic (PK) studies in support of drug discovery in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a good understanding of preclinical ADME, PK parameters, related PK software (Kinetica or Phoenix WinNonlin) and pharmacology. The candidate should have the ability to manage the reportee/s in vivo pharmacokinetics group and will be responsible for the conduct of studies, sample handling, PK data analysis and interpretation of results. Work collaboratively with formulation, Biology and Bioanalytical scientists to plan and complete assigned studies. Participate in project team meetings. Provide inputs for study design, conduct and interpretation of results. Good written and oral presentation skills. Work closely with stakeholders such as the veterinary sciences group to meet regulatory requirements for animal facilities and manage safety aspects. Participate in administrative work like managing study logistics, maintaining data quality and reporting. The candidate must possess experience in animal handling, cannulation of rodents and PK data analysis.
Technical/Functional Skills:
Animal handling, sample handling, PK data analysis and interpretation of results.
