Job description

  • Formulating and designing new Nutritional/Dietary products or other sub-components or modifying the existing ones (Pellets development for Nutraceutical products /FBD/FBC/Liquid fill in hard capsule/Tablets/Capsules/Soft Gels/Powders, etc.) that results in a product that meets consumers needs and aligns with business priorities
  • In-House Formulation Development or Co-Developing (with external partners) of Innovative Nutrition products
  • Conducting, coordinating, documenting, and interpreting data.
  • Understand the usage and functions of Raw Materials used.
  • Effectively interfacing with Regulatory Affairs and QA.
  • Effectively coordinating and communicating with Supply Chain and Manufacturing ensuring a smooth transfer of technology/process to the production scale.
  • Preparation of documents for different internal and external trials.
  • Maintain 1S,2S activity in the lab.
  • Miscellaneous activity in application lab.

B. KEY ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED:


1. Planning and Executing trials.

a. Planning for the internal trial for liquid fill encapsulation in the hard capsule.

b. Planning for the customer trial for liquid fill encapsulation in the hard capsule.

c. Preparation of protocol for different internal and external trials.

d. Arranging of material required for studies.


2. Planning and Executing of internal studies.

a. Evaluation of the capsules received from customers.

b. Evaluation of the formulation received from the customer.

c. Data generation of capsule and formulation.


3. Dissolution and Stability studies

a. Planning for the timely stability initiation.

b. Planning for the timely dissolution studies.

c. Data generation on dissolution for internal study.

d. Support to the customer for dissolution complaints.


4. Miscellaneous activity in application lab.

a. Maintain 1S,2S activity in the lab.

b. Maintain records of the different internal and external customers.

c. Support internal and group company trials for customer support.
