Qualification and eligibility:

  • BE/B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering & MBA – Operation.
  • 15 - 20 years in supply chain management experience in a high volume / B2B sales environment and handling high-value items globally
  • More than 8 years in a position of similar responsibility
  • Experience in handling Logistics and Freight for international geographies

Job description:

As Head – Global SCM Head, you will embark on a fast-paced career path that will allow you to utilize your experience and process knowledge, with an endeavour to work collectively in Making Things Better. In this role, you will be responsible for developing long-term supply chain strategy for ACG Capsules, to achieve better control of inventory and customer satisfaction globally. This will include creation of the sourcing and supplier selection plan. Guiding the Logistics teams across geographies to ensure sustainability and driving Planning process for all manufacturing units, along with digital transformations.


Responsibilities:
  • Ensure deployment of Policies & Guidelines across procurement, logistics and planning for ACG Capsules
  • Oversee supply chain operations and deliver on SCM metrics (such as costs, timely dispatch and delivery, timely procurement etc.)
  • Monitor profitability of operations i.e. targets for cost optimization, reduction in wastage and achievement of productivity targets, effective utilization of warehouses etc.
  • Define identification and empanelment process of cost effective vendors/suppliers for procurement and logistics. Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis
  • Monitor Logistics and Planning operations globally
  • Develop norms for inventory and WIP to ensure standardization across the company
  • Lead cost saving efforts across ACG Capsules by facilitating identification of cost-saving opportunities and ensuring follow up action on the same
  • Guide the implementation of process improvement initiatives within various departments
  • Monitor compliance and review supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
