Role Description
- Achieve the company sales and profit objectives within the South region and product/service portfolio.
- Work closely with National Manager, Business Unit Manager, Product/service Specialists, Operations Manager & support Manager.
- Primarily the sales region includes Sothern states (Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Pondicherry, and Andaman) of India positioned at Bangalore & Hyderabad.
Responsibilities ·
- Achieve Regional Plan in terms of Sales & Profit strictly adhering to the principles and guidelines of the company ·
- Regularly visit the customers and ensure a high level of support for their continued business ·
- Handle and build a team of 3-6 Area managers in the sales region. Develop and manage efficient distribution networks for sales.
- Analyzing sales data, periodical forecasting, and reporting to the National head.
- Ensure that the receivables are strictly under control in coordination with the Receivables team, with respect to DSOs. ·
- A go-getter, who sees Challenges as an opportunity to grow, develop, and provide Solutions. ·
- Provide timely information to all the functions ensuring smooth and effective business operations in the region and as a should contribute to the overall performance of the Region.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience ·
- Minimum Experience of 8-15 years in selling genomics products and services or equivalent life science products and services. ·
- Well-developed skills in sales, planning, negotiation, Strong computer skills (Must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong team player and interpersonal skills ·
- Technical Knowledge of various genomics research areas and applications such as Diagnostics, Agrigenomics, contract research, etc is a must and research experience will be added advantage. ·
- Managerial and leadership skills and should have handled the team.
