Job Title: Associate/Senior Associate Scientist/Research Scientist

Job Overview: The Scientist will work in the Invitro Pharmacology Group of Discovery Biology and Translational Medicine (DTM) team.

Education & experience (required): 

MTech/MSc degree in Biotechnology/Cell Biology/Immunology/Oncology/Biochemistry with 4-10 years of relevant work experience (academia or industry)

Previous experience in Invitro assays/Immunology/Oncology/Cell Biology Research.

Job Location - Bangalore

Responsibilities and Duties:

The candidate will be involved in in-vitro enzyme assays and cell-based functional assays to evaluate different target molecules, associated with multiple drug discovery programs, mainly in the areas of Immunology and Oncology.

• Carry out in-vitro enzyme-based assays (enzyme kinetics, mechanism of inhibition) and biochemical assays (HTRF, AlphaLISA, luminescence-based assays).
• Perform Immunology/Cell Biology based functional assays (Flow cytometry, ELISA, cell viability, cell proliferation)
• Evaluate compounds in various primary cell-based assays (working with mouse cells, human PBMCs, etc).
• Carry out cell culture-based techniques for the maintenance of various cell lines and primary cell cultures.
• Independently conduct lab experiments, interpret and analyze results.
